SPAIQ Linq
AI-powered video transmission beyond network limits

SPAIQ Linq is the newest product in SPAIQ, the AI video technology from Italy-based Small Pixels. With AI at both ends of the link, it delivers high-quality video through constrained networks.
Traditional transmission works only at the source, so live feeds, remote sports and field surveillance are bound by the physical limits of the network, often trading stability against clarity. SPAIQ Linq adds an intelligent software layer across the whole delivery chain, letting you carry noticeably higher-quality video over your existing networks without replacing codecs, encoders or infrastructure.
How It Works
Point A (source): intelligent signal optimization
Lightweight neural networks analyze each frame and remove redundant spatial and temporal data before encoding. This is not conventional compression: the omitted data is chosen because the AI knows it can rebuild it accurately later. Bandwidth needs drop sharply while the foundations for faithful reconstruction are preserved.
Metadata-assisted transmission
Alongside the optimized video, which passes through standard encoders, SPAIQ Linq sends frame-synchronized metadata describing the transformations made at Point A.
Point B (destination): real-time neural reconstruction
After the signal is received and decoded, the AI reads the metadata hints to rebuild the omitted detail, restoring the original sharpness, structure and fluid motion that conventional transmission cannot preserve.
Key Benefits
01 Ultra-reliable transmission
Stable, continuous video over heavily restricted, volatile or congested RF, satellite or cellular networks.
02 A reversed bandwidth-quality trade-off
Send higher resolution or higher frame rates at your current bitrate, or keep the same perceived quality over less bandwidth. In the maker’s comparison, pixel density is cut by 30% at the same 2 Mbps bitrate.
03 Better machine vision
Conditioning the signal before encoding makes downstream AI object detection, classification and tracking more reliable, raising mAP scores compared with conventional pipelines.
Use Cases
- Live broadcast contribution
- Remote sports production
- Interviews and news gathering
- Drone video transmission
- Mobile video command centers
- Defense and public safety
- Critical infrastructure monitoring and remote inspection
