Designed as a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution for transmitting multiple Ethernet signals bidirectionally over a single Duplex fiber optic cable, the BarnColor 4xEth can handle up to 16 individual 1Gbit/second links. Each BarnColor device can process up to 4 separate 1Gbit links and can be daisy-chained with up to 4 different colors. This flexible system is simple to install, upgrade, and use, and can be combined with any model of a different color. Furthermore, each port supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), capable of supplying up to 15W per port.
BarnColor devices can be installed in color pairs or used as satellites in conjunction with the BarnOne system. When establishing a pure BarnColor system, start with a matching pair of any color and later expand the system according to your needs. As long as the colors are different, you can combine different models of BarnColors or use multiple units of the same model within the same system. It is recommended to use single-mode fiber when linking BarnColor devices.
