4/8 Port RF Spectrum and Signal Analyzer

The Calian Multi-Port Decimator D4 is a 4th generation spectrum monitoring and signal analysis unit with several built-in functions including carrier monitoring, cross-polarization measurements, and optional DVB signal demodulation and analysis. It can be operated from all platforms, including all browsers and Android and iOS devices, through its HTML5-based web user interface. Designed for users who require advanced spectrum monitoring and signal analysis, the Decimator D4 remotely monitors RF communications and detects signal problems. It is a multi-port wideband spectrum analyzer with carrier monitoring that can be used for satellite signals in L-band, C-band, Ka-band, Ku-band, and Q/V-band frequencies, making it ideal for monitoring satellite, wired, and ground wireless network RF feeds and carriers.

Advanced Features

Cross Pole Isolation Measurement

The Decimator D4 Spectrum Analyzer measures and displays cross-pole isolation in remote satellite communication and VSAT terminals. Both pole signals and cross-pole signals are displayed simultaneously, making it easy to confirm the measured isolation. The measurement results can be exported and saved, providing a record of cross-pole performance during normal operation or carrier line-up.

Spectator Add-On – Advanced Spectrum Monitoring

The Spectator software add-on license offers advanced spectrum monitoring capabilities for Decimator D4 spectrum analyzer.
Spectator allows you to view up to 100 carriers at a glance in a single window, play back individual carrier traces, view trend plots and more.

Detector Add-On – Advanced Signal Monitoring

Detector software allows users to display multiple signal constellation displays on a single screen.
Users can monitor multiple (up to 100) carriers at a time for viewing demodulated signal characteristics, including historical view.
The display can be configured to monitor only signals from carriers of interest or to view only carriers that have alarm conditions.

Illuminator Add-on
The Illuminator software add-on is ideal for users with multiple Decimators. 
It’s a multi-site carrier monitoring solution with centralized monitoring and control of your entire set of carriers.
Illuminator provides the same dashboard visual features of Spectator and Detector to view your current results from multiple remote sites, and it allows you to navigate your long-term results for a particular carrier at any remote site.
