DATAMINER OPEN TRAINING

The DataMiner Open Training Sessions are open public sessions that are held at both our offices in Europe and in the Americas. They are led by seasoned subject matter experts and offer a complete training program with five separate tracks: DataMiner Operator, DataMiner System Administrator, DataMiner Advanced Applications, DataMiner Driver Development Initiation and DataMiner Driver Development Mastership. Each track includes theoretical presentations, demonstrations and hands-on lab exercises. You can take the entire program or specific tracks, depending on your level of experience. DATAMINER OPERATOR TRAINING (2 DAYS)

DataMiner Operators use the DataMiner System on a daily basis to manage their operation and to interact with their operational ecosystem. This includes navigating through the operational ecosystem, managing active alarms, consulting historical alarms, real-time interaction with managed devices, consulting trend data and statistical reports, etc.
This course provides a complete overview of the standard DataMiner System and shows you how to use the platform to interact with your operational ecosystem. It teaches you to access and use the system to consult active and historical alarms, start real-time sessions with managed devices, navigate through the system, and use any of the operator user interfaces.

Prerequisites

-personal laptop with Microsoft .NET Framework (4.0 or later) and Microsoft Internet Explorer (capable of running XBAP applications)
-proficient software skills

DATAMINER SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR TRAINING (2 DAYS)

DataMiner System Administrators are responsible for setting up and maintaining a DataMiner multi-vendor NMS. This includes for example adding new devices, changing alarm thresholds, managing user accounts, configuring backup policies, creating graphical system presentations, etc.

This course teaches you everything about setting up and maintaining a DataMiner System. This includes adding new devices and new drivers, managing user accounts, setting up backup policies, creating graphical Visual Overview presentations, defining alarm thresholds, etc.

Prerequisites

-personal laptop with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft .NET Framework (4.0 or later) and Microsoft Internet Explorer (capable of running XBAP applications)
-proficient software skills
-Operator Training successfully completed

DATAMINER ADVANCED APPLICATIONS TRAINING (1 DAY)

DataMiner Application Developers are responsible for creating applications with the DataMiner multi-vendor NMS. This includes developing correlation and automation logic (e.g. for redundancy architectures).

This course teaches you everything about the configuration and use of advanced DataMiner applications, including DMS Correlation and Automation. This includes creating correlation logic and connectivity chains, creating and testing automation scripts, etc.

Prerequisites

-personal laptop with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft .NET Framework (4.0 or later) and Microsoft Internet Explorer (capable of running XBAP applications)
-proficient software skills
-Operator and Administrator Training successfully completed
