6th March – Workshop Session 4 “Future of TV Contents” – 9.00am to 10.30am

Village Island President, Mr. Michael Van Dorpe, will manage the “Future of TV Contents” 4K workshop in partnership with DVB Consortium. He will elaborate on the 4K 60p 10bit video quality and the various ways to transmit these data rates, over Satellite or Terrestrial networks.
In addition, a live session is organized thanks to a joint effort with Sony 4K TV and Measat DVB-S2 Transponder.

DVB-T2 DVB-T2 Deployment Demonstration

Our booth #59-60 will host a series of hardware equipment and our skilled team will be happy to discuss the various value added services Village Island has to offer:
– Hybrid DVB-T2 + DVB-S2 broadcast for immediate DTH and Terrestrial delivery
–> Live trial over Satellite !.
– DVB-T2 head end and edge systems with Village Island and Sencore solutions.
– Full system monitoring (in partnership with Skyline Dataminer)
– Troubleshooting, Analysis and Monitoring with Dektec solutions.

BAR_SFP-big Fiber Link demonstration

Also on display is the most advanced Fiber contribution system to date, with the ability to transmit up to 88 fiber channels in CWDM/DWDM!
Utilising this technology, we will demonstrate the transmission of 4K 60p 10bit baseband signals over fiber.
